As you likely know, Sunday April 15th marks the one year anniversary of Black Friday. The government shutdown of major U.S. facing online poker websites stripped American poker players of the right to play. Rather than embracing public opinion and sound public policy by calling for licensing of online poker in the U.S., they instead essentially imposed a prohibition on online poker.
While the Poker Players Alliance and the poker community are all working tirelessly to correct this -- and are making important strides along the way -- we need everyone’s help to push even harder this month. So today, running until midnight on April 16th, PPA is proud to launch The Players Will Never Fold campaign.
What is the campaign?
The Players Will Never Fold brings the community together with united voices to correct the injustices of the past year. The actions outlined below will take only a few minutes of your time. By taking part, you are joining countless other poker players and enthusiasts across the country in showing your support of the PPA’s ongoing efforts to protect players and establish favorable laws.
Contact Congress:
Your letters, calls, tweets, and Facebook messages matter! Let Congress know that licensing and regulating online poker is an issue important to you.
